PoCo Technologies' primary focus/niche is developing custom web-based software/websites with an eye towards long-term cost-effectiveness, which typically includes the development of Content Management Systems and administrative features which allow the site owner (or employee thereof) to update portions of the site with out assistance from a developer (myself), thus internalizing a large portion of site maintenance/updates and associated costs. PoCo Technologies is a small company with low overhead which I believe allows us to provide more prompt and affordable service to our customers.

One of the key features of my approach to development is the application of software engineering concepts to the process. While anyone can develop a website, I've found few people/companies actually engineer the process/product. Over the past few years, I have developed and refined a stable, reusable, backwards compatible core library/site software architecture that allows for rapid, predictable, repeatable, maintainable and cost-effective development as well as a highly extensible platform/site. My preferred development platform is LAMP (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP).

I am a web and software developer with formal training/education and over 12 years of experience programming in a variety of different languages and platforms. My experience ranges from developing desktop (MS Windows platform/architecture) applications to embedded software for next generation graphical avionics (R&D project w/ Honeywell International) to website and web-application development. I have been in business as PoCo Technologies LLC for the past five years, and have led or collaborated on the development of 100's of web-based projects of various sizes, scopes and requirements.
